Caring Hearts has been providing ambulance and para transit service to Adams County and its neigboring communitys for over fifteen years.

Established in 1996 Caring Hearts Ambulance began as a small one ambulance operation Since then Caring Hearts has evolved to become one of the busiest services in Adams County. This success is attributed to the over whelming support from our patients and clients.

 We at Caring Hearts Ambulance base our success on our ability to serve the non-emergency ambulance and para transit service of our communities and clientele we serve. We pride ourselves on  designing our service around the needs of the patient Whether an acute care facility, sub acute facility or skill nursing facility, we always strive to ensure our patients recieve  Skill and Compassion when they need it most

On  occasions our crews have found themselves in unique  situations when additaional assistance is needed. Our local emergency services have always responded to our aid.

The staff and management of Caring Hearts would like to express their deepest and heart fill appreciation to those members of the Gettysburg Fire Department  Ambulance and our brothers and sisters of Medic 28 of the Gettysburg Hospital for their wonderful display of team work in caring for the area residents.

Who We Are

Caring Hearts Ambulances are staffed by dedicated people that understand the need to be ready at anytime. Our service answers over 6100 calls annually from the simple wheelchair transfer to the Advance Life Support with our local hospital staff

Our service is a not for profit corporation

Our Board members consist of members from area health care facilities that hold the highest regard for patient care and service
